Another Eagle Scout project to help our Wounded soldiers

Life Scout Billy L, of Troop 310 located on Ft. Hamilton Army Base in Brooklyn, New York recently completed his Eagle Scout service project with us. He decided to collect DVD's and Phone Cards - two of the most-requested items at all of the medical units I work with.

Well, he did. In a BIG way. Billy collected 780 DVD's, and an additional $4,500 that he donated to Soldiers Angels to purchase phone cards for the troops.

The DVD's will be shipped to dozens of military medical facilities all over the Middle-East, where they will be watched and enjoyed by patients and medics alike.

In my 7 years as a Scout leader, and another 2 years working with Scouts for Soldiers's Angels, I'm continually impressed by the contributions these young Americans make to support our soldiers. Look up "Patriot", and you'll see Eagle Scout.

Congratulations Mr. L on this great project.
